The Museum of Broadcast Communications is one of only two broadcast museums in America, housing historic radio and television memorabilla, an extensive archive collection of over 85,000 hours of television and radio programming and home to America's only Radio Hall of Fame. The museum offers state-of-the art radio and television studios; where visitors have the opportunity to go "on-the air," plus a wide array of interactive exhibits and klosks.
Transit Directions: The MBC is located one block east of all CTA's orange, purple, green and brown line trains. Just exit at the Wabash/Randolph stop and walk one block east on Randolph. For blue and red line riders, exit at Washington/Randolph stop, take the escalator up to State St. and Randolph St. and walk two blocks east to the Chicago Cultural Center.
Hours: Monday- Saturday, 10:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. and Sunday, 12:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.(no archives on Sundays).
Payment Info: Admission is $7 for adults and $6 for senior citizens and students.
