Chicago Photography Center
3301 N. Lincoln Avenue, Chicago
Phone: (773) 549-1631

The Chicago Photography Center (CPC) was founded in mid-2002 by a group of photographers and students. The Center's Program Director,  Richard Stromberg  , taught photography at the Jane Addams Center in Lakeview for more than 30 years. A board of directors  provides financial and strategic oversight.

CPC's mission is to provide a vibrant and flexible learning environment for emerging and accomplished photographers throughout the Chicago area. We bring people together in an informal setting where they can share their perspectives and develop their photography skills.

The Chicago Photography Center is a not-for-profit organization. Our facility houses a gallery, lighting studio, computer lab, darkrooms and classroom space. We offer weekday evening classes and single-session workshops on evenings and Saturday mornings.

We have different shows running throughout the year at CPC including film and digital exhibits. You are very welcome to visit our gallery at the weekend. The opening times are 10am to 4pm Saturday and Sunday.

Directions:

We're located at the corner of Lincoln, School and Marshfield, one block north of Belmont. The entrance is on Lincoln. There's easy access via public transportation, both train and bus.
